About the Author

Billy VanZandt is a Southern California musician, songwriter, and published photographer. Born in East Haven, Connecticut, VanZandt moved to Hollywood at a young age to pursue a musical career, playing guitar and later bass in the greater Los Angeles club scene. Most recently he has been at work composing and recording original songs in his home studio in Orange County.

VanZandt is a vegan who enjoys walking the trails near his home and riding motorcycles and scooters. His musical and philosophical influences are eclectic and include Jimi Hendrix, Johnny Cash, Led Zeppelin, The Beach Boys, A.C. Bhaktivedanta, Paul Watson (Sea Shepherd), Noam Chomsky, and Howard Zinn.
