About Halcyon Crafts and our Founder, Owner & Artist: Charlotte Barr

Welcome and thank you for stopping by! My name is Charlotte Barr and I live in deep South Texas. I have been “crafting” for as long as I can remember.I thank my Grandmother, MeMe, for that. I don’t specialize in one type of medium, I am constantly trying new things, but sewing is my favorite.

I am married to Harvey, a musician, producer and Indy record company owner. I also have two children whom I adore: Brandon and Tiffany. My full-time job is wonderful. I am the Financial Secretary at a private Christian school., but dealing with budgets and customer accounts all day can get stressful. Crafting is my way of relaxing.

I have been making gifts for family and friends for more than 15 years. I have sold my items on eBay for 8 years. And, I also donate quilts I make to The Binky Patrol, a wonderful non-profit group. My loving husband recently suggested I start my own website so, Halcyon Crafts was born!

I have had clients from all over the U.S. and beyond. Most people are looking for a unique gift. All of my items are handmade, so no two are alike. I have many clients who come back time and time again for all their gift giving needs.
