DOWN INDUSTRIES CLOTHING

Down Industries Clothing (D.I.C.) was founded and launched in 1999 by artist, designer, and visionary TC DOWN from his apartment in beautiful downtown Santa Barbara, California. TC always maintained an active lifestyle while working as a web applications & network administrator, but grew tired of the boring 9-5 lifestyle and the lack of social interaction in the computer industry. TC has spent years working on himself and his artwork, and is interested in the power of the mind and teaching people to overcome their personal limitations. D.I.C. has grown and today the Down Industries compound is based in Chino, CA which is located in the Inland Empire area of San Bernardino County (largest county in the continental United States). The IE as we locals refer to this huge fast growing manufacturing and industrial area, has become a hot bed for hardcore clothing companies and is an up and coming hardcore alternative to the surf & skate brand industry in Irvine / Huntington Beach / Newport Beach, CA.

Personal Status Corporation, the holding company for Down Industries Clothing (D.I.C.) was incorporated in 2004 with the vision of communicating to the downest among us in a creative form; to help others obliterate their mental limitations. D.I.C. was launched as the clothing company that would encompass all of TC DOWNs creative and people skills.

The D.I.C.design process is both painstaking and energizing; we have experienced being DOWN in every sense of the word. Living through all of these experiences culminates in a release of creative expression which has become the D.I.C. image. Hot lifestyle graphics are translated into D.I.C. creations - quality clothing essentials such as t-shirts, sweatshirts/hoodies, jerseys, beanies, hats, intimate apparel and gear for active people.

Today D.I.C. sells worldwide with customers in many countries. Beginning in 2007 D.I.C. has expanded its operations and moved into manufacturing. Our vision is to bring you more than just another clothing line. Hence why we work to bring you website experiences such as Down Babes, Down Posse, Down Cartel, & Down Industries.

With the current state of the world, everything and everyone is becoming more jaded and hardcore by the day. We are very proud to be on the bleeding edge of hardcore clothing design and manufacturing, and to represent everyone who is working hard and partying even harder. Were always looking to expand our offerings to our loyal customers. Its been a great adventure so far and we look forward to our future together.
